The right way to feed material:
If combine the right feeding way with splitter plate, feeding box can ensure the mixed materials scatter evenly in the whole crushing chamber. Be sure to make the proportion of fineness material and big sized materials evenly to prolong the service life of liner plates. In order to make the crushing result more idea, it is better to prevent the crushing chamber from totally full materials, especially prevent the materials from accumulating under the splitter plates. If possible, it is better to put a vibrating screen in front of cone crusher to separate out the fineness materials and stickiness materials, which can prevent the materials from accumulating in the crushing chambers, and finally block the discharge opening, compress the springs extremely and reduce the working efficiency. Metal detector also should be installed to pick out the metal materials like iron lump which can arouse the movement of the springs. There should be enough specifications of feeding machine which can feed the maximum materials into the crusher.
Driving Way:
The standard crusher driving way is by v-belt. The reasons why v-belt drive is especially suitable are firstly, in view of the features of belt drive which can prevent the crusher impact load from transmitting to the main electric motor of crusher. Secondly, it can bear the impact load and not reduce the speed of the crusher.
The belt pulley of electric motor should be installed directly in the horizontal position of the transmission shaft. Users should confirm the position of the crusher pulley.
The Primary Installation of V-belt Drive:
If it is the first time to install the v-belt or re-installation of the v-belt, pls follow the below procedures:
1.Clean the oil, grease and rust in the groove of v-belt pulley.
2.Ensure the crusher pulley and motor pulley in the same direction to ensure the balance of the shafts.
3.Do not install v-belt on the pulley without any method. Usually, v-belt can be put on the pulley through shorten the center distance until it can be installed easily on the pulley.
4.Use the v-belt which is matched with the pulley groove or the new belts from the same manufacture. Do not use new and old v-belt together.
5.After installing the v-belt on the pulley, let the transmission device run for a few minutes and then tighten the transmission shaft device until there are only two factors the allocation of electric motor and the run direction that decide the transmission device during it runs.(only on the loose side of the v-belt).
